About us
Our "mountain" at the foot of the Atlas, with a 360° panoramic view of the whole Ourika valley and its Berber villages, in the middle of nature, a place of calm, serenity, meditation and rest; a unique and magical place. Everything is amazing, beautiful scenery, big and well-decorated rooms. As hosts, we take great joy in sharing our knowledge and love for the country and its people.
The place is exceptional for unforgettable hikes, not far from all the places to discover. 45 minutes from the airport and the centre of the Medina of Marrakech, where everything is concentrated: Riads, Hotels, Guest Houses and the big noise...
The "Berber Village Lodge" The Douar Berber Lodge has realized our dreams to offer you your own paradise.
After drilling, we found water at a depth of more than one hundred meters, thus ensuring our water supply. The energy needed for the refrigerators, for example, is generated by our own solar system. In addition, solar lamps and candles create a romantic and relaxing light. We strive to make our Lodge House as environmentally friendly as possible and continue to look for ways to integrate this into our Berber Lodge.
Our history
My name is Mostafa Faik, Swiss-Moroccan. I was born in Morocco and have spent most of my life in Switzerland.
I have accumulated a lot of valuable experience throughout my career in the hotel industry and in the organisation of various events that I have always put to good use during my studies in the hotel bussiness.
