The perfect location

for adults only
under Swiss management

Nowadays, in Morocco, the term "douar" refers to a "small village (or) a grouping of rural dwellings", with a more dispersed habitat in the plains than in the mountains. It is commonly the basic unit of the rural commune.

Most importantly, our Eco Lodge hotel is self-sufficient with solar panels and its own well and renewable energy, allowing you to feel good about your holiday, in full awareness of your responsibility.

The construction of our entire Lodge is in a typically Berber style, crafted using traditional methods with the wealth of local knowledge from the Amazigh community. The mixture of ochre clay, stone and wood gives our resort a unique charm that blends beautifully with our surroundings.

Your home away from home

Since its opening, Le Douar Berbère Hotel Lodge has been the perfect blend of a luxury hotel and simple comfort.

The Berber village is located in the green Ourika valley, in a quiet, peaceful and meditative green oasis, 40 km from the centre of Marrakech and the airport. The eco-lodge offers everything you need for a pleasant stay.

The hotel is for adults only and is under Swiss management. Thanks to its beautiful location on the edge of the Atlas Mountains, all interesting sights and the nearby national park are within easy reach.

You will love hiking in the midst of nature at its best!
